Here is the recipe of little cigars that you can eat with a good tea :) I made this little 'gourmandise' for Eid 2 years ago and this is very easy to make.

Ingrédients : pour la farce
- 500g d'amandes
- 300g de sucre
- 1/4 de CAC de cannelle
- 3 CAC de beurre
- 4 CAS d'eau de fleur d'oranger

Pour la pâte
- 200g de crème fraiche environ
- 1CAS de sucre
- une pincée de sel
- 250g de farine

Pour la déco
- 1 blanc d'oeuf

ENGLISH VERSION OF THE RECIPE
Ingredients :
for the stuffing
- 500g of almonds
- 300g of sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 3 teaspoons of butter
- 4 tablespoons of orange flower water

for dough
- crème fraiche (around 200g)
- 1 tablespoon of sugar
- a pinch of salt
- 250g of flour

for decoration
- 1 egg white
- 6 tablespoons of sesam seeds

Mix the almonds with sugar twice in order to obtain a marzipan.

Add cinnamon, butter and orange flower water. Mix everything up.
Then, roll the marzipan to shape long cigars (around 1cm thick)
In a bowl, put the crème fraiche, sugar, salt and mix everything up.
Add flour little by little until you get a smooth and regular dough.
Keep it in the fridge for half an hour.
Take the dough out of the fridge and put it on a floured work-top.
Spread it with a rolling pin and put one of the long cigars on the spread dough.
Roll the cigars in the dough to cover them, cut with a knife the extradough remaining and cut little cigars.
Do it until there is no more dough and marzipan.
Dip the end of the cigar in the egg white. Then put it in the sesam seeds. The egg will act as a glue.
Put the cigars on oiled hob and cook in the oven at medium temperature for 15 mn.
